Talented music producer, Samklef has chastised people disrespecting YBNL CEO, Olamide.
The rapper came under heavy criticism yesterday when a music enthusiast took to the bird app to describe him as an artist who is not worth the hype.
According to him, the ‘Carpe Diem’ hitmaker just thrives on the fact that the Nigerian music industry is 70% Yoruba. That being said, his name should be omitted when counting the greatest artistic products on the motherland.
His tweet sparked wild reactions on social media where most people agreed whilst others disagreed with him.
Reacting to the tweets, Samklef, who has been in the game for years and contributed to the success of most Nigerian artiste called on music enthusiasts to put some respect on Olamide’s name and his legacy because he has made people great.
People should stop disrespecting Olamide. He doesn’t talk much. Pls respect his legacy. he has made people”
